About

Tucked into a quiet pocket of the Barossa Valley, Tweedies Gully Estate sits among rolling hills, ancient gums, and a gum-lined winter creek. It’s a place shaped by nature and guided by generations of winemaking knowledge – family owned, Barossa grown and made.

Our Cellar Door

Visitors are welcomed at the estate’s striking cellar door, where tastings are offered in a relaxed, scenic setting. The property also hosts private events in its purpose-built function space and offers two distinct styles of accommodation, a lovingly restored 1890s Settlers Cottage and glamping tents set along the creek, each with sweeping views across vineyards, paddocks and gums.

“Do things well, and do them simply.

For over 85 vintages across two generations, the Pfeiffer family has crafted wines that are approachable, enjoyable and true to the Barossa. A modern winery and climate-controlled barrel hall support their simple philosophy: do things well, and do them simply.

Meet Dorham Pfeiffer

General Manager Dorham Pfeiffer brings a wealth of experience and a deep family connection to Tweedies Gully Estate. Named after Australian wine pioneer Dorham Mann, Dorham has spent a lifetime learning from the land and from his father, Kevin Pfeiffer O.A.M., a respected winemaker and trailblazer in Australian wine.

Kevin was the first to commercially plant Petit Verdot in the country and a pioneer in the development of non-alcoholic wine. Dorham has followed in their footsteps while forging a path of his own.

A Family Legacy

With over 28 years across all aspects of the wine industry from vineyard and winery operations to managing international wine sales, Dorham combines hands-on knowledge with big-picture thinking.

Now leading the estate into its next chapter, Dorham with the support of his wife Emma is guiding the third generation and leaving his own legacy, sharing the knowledge, values and lessons gathered over decades, so they can carry Tweedies Gully forward with fresh energy and a deep respect for where it all began.
